NEW GENERATION SCHARERS LITTLE BREWERY + GEORGE IV INN, PICTON
In March 2006, David Wright + Luke Davies took over Scharer's Little Brewery + George IV Inn in Picton from its founder, Geoffrey Scharer.  Attracted to the business because of the history associated with it, the new owners are continuing the traditional brewing recipe and processes as well as providing a pub where people can come and enjoy their beer in a relaxed, old school atmosphere.

Luke's background is in managing hotels and so he has taken on the role of hotel licensee for the George IV Inn. David's background is in fine wine, so with his palate and passion he was naturally attracted to the challenge of the brewery.
